From OH! Open House - Marina Bay

EVENT fix: OH! Open House - Marina Bay 
I went to this last weekend and it was really quite amazing. You get to satisfy your voyeurism with a tour of the google, DBS (they have their OWN starbucks!!!), deutsche bank as well as other offices and not to miss the point of the tour - there's inspired art installed in each of them! (yes, I will do a review this weekend! *in a creepy gollum voice* I promisesssss)

I loved this post. Bet you didn't know - Lady Gag was dropped by Island Def Jam Records after only 3 months. Plus other inspiring snippets from others who have not let failure define them - Beatles, Steve Jobs, Oprah, Marilyn ... 

FASHION fix: Lookbook.nu
Only the best place to go for street style - did I mention, I post my looks on lookbook too ^^ Please hype me!

FOOD fix: Ham & Cheese puff pastry pie, Joythebaker
This might just be the simplest and yummiest recipe ever and I'm definitely trying it out. I'm pretty sure it'll beat the socks off anything I get from that overpriced Delifrance!

BEAUTY fix: 1-minute DIY oliveoil+honey face mask, Michelle Phan
I love this video! Firstly its short, secondly, you can switch off the sound (good for secretive watching in office space), thirdly, the mask is SO damn easy so yes, I am trying this one this weekend

FASHION BLOGGER fix: Selina, flyingsaucer
You know how there are some blogs you, for some inexplicable reason, are just addicted to - they might not have the prettiest photos or the cleanest design but for some reason you just keep on reading. Well, this is one of them for me. I've been following this blog for 2 years now and whilst a lot of blogs have hopped on and dropped off my reading list, this one has stuck around. Peppered with friendly youtubes and a ridiculously approachable way of writing, I guess thats why - she just sounds like a really fun fashion loving girl who I would love to be friends with! 

MUSIC fix: I know you care, Ellie Goulding
I was such a fan of Starry Eyed by Ellie and now I have her album! Wish I was going to her concert too but sadly my wallet doesn't quite permit. Anyhoo, hope you enjoy this rather sad melancholic song.

New found respect for Tyra - super driven, super motivated. Did you know - aside from getting in Harvard Business School, before she started modeling she got into UCLA! girl got brains! 

Anybody who knows me knows I love pretty colours and 'quirky' fashion - this is just about really pretty eye candy

If you didn't know this well - shame on you! Thank god Michael is going to be around for the finale! whew - after all what would we do without our orange male judge?
